2012 Teacher Education Workshops
This summer, Usdan will present two 2-day teacher education workshops. The first, I Can Do That Kids!, will be offered on July 17th and 18th. The program will be taught by Angelo Truglio, music educator and founder of the I Can Do That! program. The second workshop is Music for Learning, Music for Fun, being offered on July 24th and 25th. This course will be taught by Elaine Gates, a noted music educator and member of Usdan's faculty since 1968. Both workshops include classroom and hands-on experiences designed to enrich the programs of elementary music teachers, and classroom teachers as well. A Certificate of Completion will be provided at the end of each course. Teachers should check with their school districts for prior approval.
