Call for an application: 212-772-6060 or 631-643-7900 Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts 185 Colonial Springs Road, Wheatley Heights, New York 11798 Music Staff Internships 2008 Summer Season Usdan Center announces auditions for talented high school seniors to serve as Music Staff Interns during the 7-week 2008 Summer Season. MSI's rehearse and perform with Usdan's bands, orchestras, jazz ensemble and choruses in addition to assisting conductors and teachers in activities in our music department. MSI's earn a $750 stipend and a full tuition scholarship. 2007 Season dates: June 30 to August 15. MSI auditions are open to high school students completing 11th or 12th grade in the 2007-2008 academic year. Auditions are competitive and openings very limited. Applicants for this program must be able to perform music equivalent to the NYSSMA level Grade VI level. Please call to receive an application. back to top Counselor in Training Positions for 2008 Summer Season Usdan Center announces openings for Counselors in Training (CIT's) for the 2008 Summer Season. Students who have completed the 10th, 11th or 12th grade and have previously been a camper at Usdan Center, for a minimum of one summer, are eligible to apply. Responsibilities include mentoring and guiding a group of young campers during the camp day, eating lunch with this group and other duties as assigned by the director of the CIT program. 2008 Season Dates: June 30 to August 15. CIT's must be available for the entire summer and must also attend the Usdan orientation and a CIT orientation (dates TBA). Please call for an application.
