MSI's rehearse and perform with Usdan's bands, orchestras, jazz ensemble and choruses in addition to assisting conductors and teachers in activities in our music department. MSI's earn a $750 stipend and a full tuition scholarship. 2009 Season dates: June 29 to August 14. MSI auditions are open to high school students completing 11th or 12th grade in the 2008-2009 academic year. Auditions are competitive and openings very limited. Applicants for this program must be able to perform music equivalent to the NYSSMA level Grade VI level. Please call to receive an application. back to top Counselor in Training Positions for 2009 Summer Season Usdan Center announces openings for Counselors in Training (CIT's) for the 2009 Summer Season. Students who have completed the 10th, 11th or 12th grade and have previously been a camper at Usdan Center, for a minimum of one summer, are eligible to apply. Responsibilities include mentoring and guiding a group of young campers during the camp day, eating lunch with this group and other duties as assigned by the director of the CIT program. 2009 Season Dates: June 29 to August 14. CIT's must be available for the entire summer and must also attend the Usdan orientation and a CIT orientation (dates TBA). Please call for an application.
