Michael came to Usdan because he didn't want to travel to a far-away camp. He had never studied art before coming to the Center, but discovered that he loved working with clay in the ceramics class. Michael has come back to Usdan for several summers. His new interest in the visual arts has even led him to seriously consider a career in architecture.
