Usdan’s 2013 winter art exhibit open until March 8th
A student art show titled Duality opened at a Manhattan art space on Tuesday. The exhibit includes paintings and mixed-media works and had an opening reception on February 12th. The show will run from February 12- March 8, 2013 at the 430 Park Avenue Lobby Gallery at the corner of 56th Street. The exhibit is free and open to the public daily from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Usdan Lifer Awards
On the last day of the 2012 season, 33 students and 9 faculty members were honored for having reached "Lifer" status at Usdan.
Usdan composer hailed for musical Tweet
The Daily Dot has selected Usdan composer Emily Morris as one of its top 5 composers in the Metropole (Netherlands) Orchestra's recent Twitter "composition competition." Emily is a member of Usdan's summer administrative staff, and she is Usdan's Tweeter-in-Chief.

An oil portrait of the late Suzanne Lemberg Usdan has been given to the Center by Dr. Jerrold Ross, a member of the Board of Trustees and the Board's former President.
Usdan Sculpture Tour
Have you noticed the many and varied sculptures on Usdan's campus? The Center owns many works of art, some in the Hexter Museum and others in the Goetz Gallery. Within this collection are six outdoor sculptures created by distinguished artists.
Organic Gardening Students Attend a Cooking Class

Marilyn Lehman and Rob Lombardo – Usdan’s Dynamic Duo of Teacher and Student
Marilyn Lehman, the Center’s longtime Jr. Chorus pianist, and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Music at Hofstra University, has been reunited at Usdan with her former Hofstra student, Rob Lombardo. Rob is a studio pianist in the Centers’ Dance Department.
