Sad News Erica Kuhn, our beloved friend and founding Usdanite, passed away recently.
Erica's indomitable spirit and high artistic standards helped her fellow founders to realize their dream of creating a haven for children whose passion is the arts. Full story Usdanites Unite Six members of the Usdan Center family celebrated joyous events in March, when two Usdan weddings and the birth of a new Usdanite were celebrated as a result of student and faculty friendships established at Usdan. Full story 2012 Teacher Education Workshops This summer, Usdan will present two 2-day teacher education workshops. The first, I Can Do That Kids!, will be offered on July 17th and 18th. The program will be taught by Angelo Truglio, music educator and founder of the I Can Do That! program. Full story

Orientation
DetailsThe Board of Trustees invites new students, and their parents, to visit the Center on Wednesday, June 20th, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. The purpose of this visit is for you to walk the grounds following your daily schedule (which will have been sent to you by that time), and to meet your teachers. If you are a musician, you should bring your instrument on this day to check it at Building M24 so you will not have to carry it on the First day of classes. Please remember to bring your schedule with you to Orientation. Your program schedule has a map printed on it. We suggest that you plan your Orientation tour by circling those buildings in which you will have classes.

DetailsWEEKEND GUIDED TOURS
Usdan's beautiful campus comes alive each Fall with Open Houses, Weekend Tours by appointment, and Weekday Walks by appointment. These events are designed to introduce students and families to opportunities for study at the Center next summer. Weekend guided tours may be arranged by appointment. Led by alumni or staff, Usdan tour guides provide families with detailed course information, an orientation to the campus, and information about popular combinations of major and minor classes. Weekend tours require an appointment. Call Gail London at 631-643-7900 to schedule your tour.
WEEKDAY WALKS (SELF-GUIDED CAMPUS TOURS)
The Center is open most weekdays, and prospective students and their families are welcome to take self-guided tours by appointment. Theses tours include a greeting and campus orientation in the office, and a self-guided campus walk. Visitors often return to the Administration Building for a conversation with Usdan's admissions counselors. For an appointment for a Weekday Walk, call Gail London at 631-643-7900.
