Usdan Center for the Arts is a not-for-profit summer day school for the performing and visual arts. Now in its 45th Season, the Center is situated on a magnificent 200-acre woodland on Long Island. Welcome to Usdan!

2012-13 Open Houses
A Sunday Open House is a wonderful way to enjoy the energy of many families exploring the campus at the same time. Visitors are greeted at the Administration Building by faculty and staff who introduce visitors to course options at Usdan, and also review the application process. These greetings are followed by self-guided tours.
2013 Open House dates are: Sunday, April 21, and Sunday, May 19.
Hours are: 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. For an appointment, call 631-643-7900.
Usdan’s 2013 winter art exhibit open until March 8th
A student art show titled Duality opened at a Manhattan art space on Tuesday. The exhibit includes paintings and mixed-media works and had an opening reception on February 12th. The show will run from February 12- March 8, 2013 at the 430 Park Avenue Lobby Gallery at the corner of 56th Street. The exhibit is free and open to the public daily from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Usdan Lifer Awards
On the last day of the 2012 season, 33 students and 9 faculty members were honored for having reached "Lifer" status at Usdan. Full story
Usdan composer hailed for musical Tweet
The Daily Dot has selected Usdan composer Emily Morris as one of its top 5 composers in the Metropole (Netherlands) Orchestra's recent Twitter "composition competition." Emily is a member of Usdan's summer administrative staff, and she is Usdan's Tweeter-in-Chief. Full story
